Current Ministries:

English Bible Hour - A "seeker sensitive" type service where the Gospel is shared every week along with a practical topical message, occasionally drama is used to illustrate, and praise and worship music is emphasised (bilingually). Simple English is used so that Brazilians who are learning it (there are many) can have opportunity to hear and practice it. Tim and Dave take turns preaching and worship-leading. Valerie, Tim, and Dave play instruments in the praise band. There are always refreshments, which Andrea prepares, and ample time for people to converse in English before and after the service. University Bible Study - Once per week a between-classes Bible Study is held on the campus of a local Catholic university. Tim has been heading up this ministry. There is only about 20 minutes in which to complete the study but about a dozen students give up their break time regularly to attend. Many have deep questions, insights, and recognize their need for change in their spiritual lives. Pray for fruit!

It is not too soon to start gathering the need materials and supplies for our church plant which will begin on Easter 2002 - Lord willing.
